The formula I present to you today is a little more complicated and looks like this: If Team A > Team B and Team C > Team D and Team B > Team D then Team A > Team D. By using this formula and inserting Murray State, St. Johns, Notre Dame and Kentucky then it is obvious that Murray State > Kentucky. Will get a better understanding when UK plays Auburn this coming Saturday but what really matters is St. John's pulled off another win over a ranked opponent last night making the win over them in November look even better.
Now for some more news and notes:
Jones High School's finest, Demarcus Croaker, put up 30 points last night. He started the game by hitting 4 threes in the first 2 minutes. He finished 7 of 7 from behind the arch. Don't believe me? Watch this:
It's way to early to start rambling about DC becoming the next Isaiah Canaan but with numbers like this it's hard not to at least make the comparison. Just like Sip look for Croaker to be THE star player on a really good team by his Junior season.
Casey Brockman had his first practice with the Stars Team in preparation for the Raycom Bowl on Saturday. Roderick Tomlin also will play in the All-Star game that features the best college Seniors from all over NCAA Football. The game can be seen on Saturday on CBS Sports.
Murray State takes on the EIU Panthers tomorrow at 7. EIU's three wins this season have come over Houston Baptist, a team nicknamed the Broncs and a team nicknamed the Mastadons. There is no reason Murray State should lose this game, especially with it being at home. Jon Black will have a full pre game preview tomorrow afternoon.
