Know your enemy: Tennessee Tech edition

Last year, Kevin Murphy did all he could to keep the Golden Eagles alive in all three losses to Murray State. In the OVC Semi's Murphy put in 31 in a 78-58 loss to the Racers. The 6'6" guard is now wearing a Utah Jazz jersey which will be no help for TTU tomorrow night.

The torch has been passed to this guy, Jud Dillard, who is averaging 19.6 points per game.He is coming off a 16 point game in a loss to SEMO and has scored 34 twice this season. If there is a player on the TTU roster who can put the team on his back and carry them to an upset victory it's Dillard.

Another contributor for the Golden Eagles would be SMU transfer Jeremiah Samarrippas. Jeremiah has the highest three point percentage on the team at just over 37% and also has one of the most well kept line beards.(Or at least he did) He wants everyone who follows him on twitter to know that he is a #Youngboss and that we should just keep it real with him and be "str8." Well to "keep it real" with you Jeremiah, you need to consider hanging on to that basketball, champ, because with 57 turnovers you're tops on your squad in giving the other team the ball. Let me be str8 with you, you're averaging almost as many turnovers per game as field goals.

Redshirt Freshman, Lanerryl Johnson, is averaging 8.4 points per game. His teammate from Munich, Germany Dennis Ogbe is also averaging over 8 points a game at the Forward position. With another guard, Matt Marseille also receiving a lot of minutes, look for TTU to go with the smaller quicker line-up a few times on Thursday.
Jon Black will have more of a preview and prediction for the game Tomorrow afternoon.
