Racer Recruiting Update: Murray State Offers 3-Star Chris Perry

It may not be "new" news but it is still worth noting that Murray State has offered 6'8" 245 pound center, Chris Perry.

The center from Bartow, Florida has numerous offers from other big mid-majors such as Butler, Dayton and Memphis (if you still consider them mid-major). Miami and Minnesota also join the long list of schools that have offered Perry a scholarship.

Perry averaged over 13 points a game last season and also collected over 11 rebounds a game to go with it.

Murray could use more big men with the loss of Ed Daniel, Brandon Garret and possibly Latreze Mushatt next year and a guy listed at 6'8" 245 with a nice touch around the rim could be an immediate impact player.

This has been one of those boring dead weeks around here. But sports in this area is soon to get going as the Womens Soccer Blue-Gold game is in 6 days. the students move back in, in 20 days and in just a short 34 days 18th ranked Murray State heads to Tallahassee for a match-up with Florida State. Things are about to get fun.
