Latreze Mushatt Possibly Out for the Season

Stuart Scott said on Sportscenter once it was his favorite name in college basketball, but even if the Racers win their first 24 games he may never get to say "Latreze Mushatt." The 6'5" forward from Saginaw, Michigan may be out for the season as he tore his achilles in practice yesterday. He will undergo surgery tomorrow and then begin the recovery process. The chances of Mushatt playing basketball this year depends on what kind of tear it is which is information that has yet to be released but the fact that he is having surgery would lead one to believe it is a complete tear. The season is still four months away and typically full recovery is at most 7 months but Mushatt has a lot of healing to do before November.
