Kurt Busch keeps his ride at Phoenix Racing

Phoenix Racing owner, James Finch, has reached an agreement with driver Kurt Bush to return to the Phoenix Racing Chevrolet next weekend, following his one week suspension. Busch was suspended for verbally attacking a media member following the Nationwide race at Dover. The 51 car will be driven by Busch this weekend at Michigan International Speedway. Through the suspension Busch has kept quiet and hasn't said a word publicly since he released a statement accepting the suspension.

If Busch is going to stay in the Sprint Cup Series, I'm lead to believe this is his final chance with Finch, who has let his frustrations with Busch be publicly known. Going forward Busch must keep himself in check, as much more of his shenanigans will not be tolerated. Phoenix Racing is in need of sponsors and a foul mouthed Busch isn't going to land any. This weekend will be a solid test for Busch as MIS has been repaved and will surely cause frustrations for all drivers, and we will see how Kurt Busch handles those frustrations.
